1. Booking & Participation
Minor Participants: Travelers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Health & Accessibility: If you have any physical conditions, allergies, or require special assistance (e.g., chronic illness, pregnancy, or mobility concerns), please let me know at the time of booking. I will do my best to adjust the itinerary to ensure your comfort.
Safety First: For your safety, I reserve the right to decline or modify a tour if the conditions (weather, physical requirements, etc.) are deemed unsafe for the participants.

2. During the Tour
Punctuality: To make the most of our day, please be at the meeting point on time. If we have pre-booked train seats and you are late, any costs for new tickets will be your responsibility.
Medical Costs: While I will assist in any way possible if you become ill or injured during the tour, all medical and emergency transport costs are the responsibility of the traveler.
Flexibility: As this is a private tour, we can be flexible! However, please follow safety instructions at all times.

3. What’s Included (and What’s Not)
Included: Professional English-speaking guide services.
Excluded: Unless specifically stated in your itinerary, the following are not included:
Lunch and drinks.
Transportation costs (for both you and the guide during the tour).
Entrance fees to temples, museums, or activities.
Personal travel insurance.

4. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, the following fees apply based on the tour fare:
Notice Period Cancellation Fee Up to 31 days prior 20% 30 to 7 days prior 50% 6 to 3 days prior 70% Within 72 hours (or no-show) 100%
Note: Pre-purchased tickets are non-refundable. For rental car cancellations, a 20% handling fee applies to the refund.
If you need to cancel, the following fees apply based on the tour fare:

5. Changes to Your Booking
7+ Days’ Notice: Changes to the date/time are free (subject to availability).
Less than 7 Days’ Notice: A change fee of 5,000 JPY applies.
Within 48 Hours: Changes are treated as a cancellation.

6. Special Note: Private Vehicle Use
If our tour involves my private vehicle or a rental car:
Nature of Service: This is a complimentary/incidental service as part of the sightseeing experience, not a commercial taxi service.
Safety: Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
Liability: My liability in the event of an accident is limited to the coverage provided by my automobile insurance policy. I recommend all guests have their own travel insurance.
Consent: For driving tours, I will ask you to sign a simple consent form before we start.
