Gear Rental & Damage Agreement

Thank you for booking with us. To ensure a safe and enjoyable fishing experience, please review and agree to the following terms regarding the rental equipment (rods, reels, lines, flies, and waders) provided for your trip.

1. Proper Use of Equipment The guest agrees to use all rented equipment in a safe and appropriate manner, following the guide’s instructions at all times.

2. Normal Wear and Tear The guest is NOT responsible for any damage caused by normal usage, natural wear and tear, or older gear aging (e.g., lines breaking during a fight, or losing flies/lures due to snagging on rocks or trees).

3. Damage or Loss Due to Negligence The guest agrees to be financially responsible for any damage or loss caused by clear negligence, carelessness, or failure to follow the guide’s instructions.

• Examples of Negligence: Stepping on a rod, shutting a rod in a car door, falling onto rocks due to reckless behavior resulting in torn waders, or dropping a reel into deep water and losing it.

• Compensation: In the event of such damage or loss, the guest will be charged for the actual cost of repair or the current market value for replacement.

4. Travel Insurance We highly recommend having valid international travel insurance. If any damage occurs due to negligence, we can provide the necessary invoices and receipts so you can claim the expenses through your insurance provider.
