09:00 Depart from Toyama or Kanazawa Station

10:30 Arrive at Hida Furukawa - take a peaceful morning walk along the Seto River, observing white-walled storehouses (Shikabe Dozo) and hundreds of colorful carp.

12:15 Enjoy lunch in Takayama , featuring Hida Beef and local delicacies such as beef sushi and mitarashi dango.

13:00 Visit Takayama Jinya, the only remaining Edo-period government office in Japan, and learn about 17th-century law, history, and architecture.

14:15 Explore Old Town Sanmachi Suji, wandering the preserved streets of Takayama, taking photographs, shopping for traditional crafts, and experiencing the Edo period atmosphere.
